Anyway, I like this card, because beyond its a adaptation of something that I like, it is also a uncommom card xD
I mean, in MTG there's no card with this effect, ins't?
This is what would be called, now, a mythic rare; maybe 1 per 10 boxes you'd pull this card.
Plus, it would go great with the new vampire decks out now.
Ooh, just thought of a combo; Mageta, the Lion+Geofront. Tap Mageta's WoG effect, and tap all your creatures. You still have a standing army, and you're oppenent(s) is/are fucked.
The last editions that I saw well was Time Spiral block, and 10° Edition. x.x

I'm agree with you. Have your creatures immune to global effects is something that would make any card mythic rare! xD
But, maybe if there was a card like this one, they can put a "You can't play spells or abilities with global effects if you use the ability of this card, and you can't use the ability of this card if you used any global effect spell or ability this turn"
Making this card useable only against enemies spells and/or abilities xD

For instance, I pulled one mythic, it's pure white and cost 9 mana total. It's a legendary angel that, when she comes in to play, you may choose a color. Your opponent cannot play spells of the chosen color. She's a 7/7 flyer named Iona. I use her in my white green life deck.
Time Spiral Block was one of my favorites; Damnation, Lotus Bloom, the Slivers came back with a force. One of the best blocks in my book next to Ravnica Block.

Nicol Bolas, the planeswalker one, has the same powerful last effect as the card Cruel Ultimatum, but, now, planeswalkers can be attacked through the player, which sucks because you really can't pull off the big bang.
